2011 NAMBOUR CONVENTION

 

The 2011 Nambour Bible Students residential convention is to be held at

Alexandra Park, Uniting Church Youth and Conference Centre

Warm greetings. We are looking forward to the opportunity to gather to praise and worship our God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. For all who are able to come and participate in our meetings – we have planned talks, studies, hymns and fellowship. Details for this year follow.

The Conference Centre is situated at Alexandra Headlands, at the end of Mari Street, which is opposite of the beach and in beautiful bush surrounding, although close to the main lifesaver patrolled beach and playgrounds.

Our expected time of arrival to the conference centre meeting room is 10:00 a.m.(for a meeting time of 10:30 a.m ) on Saturday 9th July . The first main meal provided will be lunch at 12:30p.m.Note: Arrival at 10:00 a.m. 9th July 2011 . Anyone who requires to place luggage upon arrival, it can be put at the back of the meeting hall until the rooms are available. Room allocation will occur at a suitable time.Tariff: the tariff includes 2 nights accommodation, full catering for meals plus supper. (Rooms have ensuites, are lockable and are very close to the meeting room.)

Pensioners/Primary $154.15 per person (3 plus/room) $218.35 per person (Twin share)

Adults/Secondary $170.25 per person (3 plus/room) $234.45 per person(Twin share) Extras:

Extras: Day visitors fee: $ 29.50 with 1 meal, $43.00 with 2 meals, $54.50 with 3 meals.

Linen hire is available $ 24.00 inc.sheets,towels,pillow and blanket.

Note: Anyone requiring the linen hire, please indicate to us below as they need the numbers 14 days prior to the convention.

Please bring sheets,towels,pillows and blankets for yourself if you don't want to hire linen.

Duties for meal times will be advised.

Our last main meal will be lunch on Monday 11 July, and our program will close in the afternoon at approx.3:00p.m. We will be required to tidy up and pack when the time is suitable. For anyone requiring further nights accommodation either preceding the arrival time or following the close, we would gladly assist with information of Sunshine Coast accommodation and transport.
